A series of three-dimensional collages, which are at the same time archives of past work and evolution of large organic installations. Cecchini’s works explore large and open structures based on simple paper modules, steel, or composite material, designed by the artist and produced industrially, where every single element contributes to the creation of an “organism”. These cabinets constitute a sort of biological metaphor, the boundaries between scientific and aesthetic spheres, between mass production and poetic suspension.
