The monumental sculptural Waterbones is composed by about 1000 modules in steel designed by the artist - named waterbones in other words “bone of water”, “bone of liquid” to underline the light and morphologic freedom - and it appears like a biological metaphor: the cells blooms and blossoms by setting free molecular composites in dialogue with the space, by developing in an completely independant and self-sufficient way. The piece develop itself forming into a structural grid which exalts the “void” inside, in a dynamic of potentially infinite proliferation.
